Pierre, SD, USA / DRGNews Feb 26, 2021 5:29 PM Law Enforcement officers statewide are joining together to call for the resignation of State Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg. In a joint statement issued Friday afternoon, members of the South Dakota Fraternal Order of Police, the state’s Chiefs’ of Police Association and the state’s Sheriff’s Association called for Ravensborg to step down as the state’s top law enforcement officer. The three groups represent all 66 county sheriffs, the majority of local police chiefs and a significant number of rank and file law enforcement officers statewide.
