Sun-Times Media For the second time this month, a water pumping station that serves the Southwest Side lost power Tuesday, affecting the pressure of drinking water in Beverly and Morgan Park. But unlike the earlier outage at the Roseland Pumping Station, no boil order was issued though city officials said they will sample the water “out of an abundance of caution.” The Chicago Department of Water Management said “two power issues” affected water pressure between 9:15 a.m. and 10:10 a.m. Tuesday. ”A boil order is not being issued because of the temporary nature of the issue,” the agency said. It added that the cause was under investigation.
