Seeing the connections between health and the built environment The course New Approaches to an Architecture of Health offers students the chance to explore the role of architecture on health and well-being and how mindful design can be used to create a healthier future. For their final project in the New approaches to an architecture of health seminar course, Master of Architecture student Ellie Garside, recent Master of Environmental Building Design (EBD) graduate Madonna Miranda, and Vashvi Shah, an economics senior submatriculating in the Integrated Product Design (IPD) program, created a design for a new cancer treatment center that envisioned the facility as a comforting embrace.
