Selectmen Hear Vaccine Update, Choose Shelter : vimarsana.co

WASHINGTON — The Board of Selectmen, meeting Thursday, April 29, honored Frances C. Whitehead with a proclamation designating her 105th birthday, May 2, as Frances C. Whitehead Day.
Ms. Whitehead, a resident of Washington for 81 years, served as a member of Washington Junior Grange, the 4H Sewing Club and the First Congregational Church Bell Choir.
The proclamation said, “The town of Washington is a better place because of her,” and was presented to her as a group gathered to sing Happy Birthday at her home Saturday.
The board noted the resignation of Diane Dupuis from the Conservation Commission.
They also noted the resignations of Valerie Sedelnick, Howard Rosenfeld and Nick Solley from the Economic Development Committee, thanking the volunteers for their service.
