Sellafield makes grant of £24,487 to vital local charity Sellafield has awarded a grant of £24,487 to a vital Cumbrian charity. Sellafield Ltd has issued the funding to Hospice at Home West Cumbria, which will help the charity to provide specialist palliative and end of life nursing service. The funding will help the charity to care for patients in their own homes and other community-based settings. The service is the only charitable one of its kind in the region and is provided free of charge for all adults with a life-limiting condition. Christina Nicholson, Home Nursing Team Leader, said: “Everyone at Hospice at Home West Cumbria is extremely grateful for the very generous, continued support the organisation has received from Sellafield Ltd.
