Rochester Democrat and Chronicle One person died and four were injured after a boat rolled over in Seneca Lake and ejected everyone on board Saturday. Yates County sheriff's deputies and marine patrol responded at 5:22 p.m. near Himrod for a report of a boating accident with multiple people in the water, according to Sheriff Ron Spike. A high-performance speed boat was traveling south on the lake "at a fast speed when it made an abrupt turn," Spike said. The 45-foot boat overturned and six people on board were ejected. One person was killed and four people were injured. One person did not suffer any injuries.
