A sexual predator has been jailed for six years for repeatedly abusing a pregnant girl aged 13 or 14, while she was in state care. Philip Edwin McIntosh was arrested for having reoccurring intercourse with the child back in February, but after being released from police custody he resumed the sexual relationship. The 21-year-old pleaded guilty in the South Australian District Court to maintaining an unlawful sexual relationship and contravening an order not to communicate with her. The court heard the victim was inexplicably allowed to move in with her abuser while she was 'residing in a placement with the Department of Child Protection'.
