Lombard police Sgt. Jason Chudzinski is worried about what an area of the city may be deteriorating to after a Chicago man recently charged in the killing of a 7-year-old girl was known to hang out there. “One of the vehicles hit in the escape was a blue Charger stolen out of Chicago and the owner is a Plainfield resident,” Chudzinski said. “CPD would not take the stolen report from the victim when it was stolen because he could not produce proof of ownership. Also located were numerous key fobs to various types of vehicles. I would not be surprised if there are a bunch of stolen vehicles located around Foxworth Complex."
