Life is a two-way street, and it's sometimes clogged by slow-moving farm vehicles.
Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a farmer, himself, joined other local farmers and agriculture officials Friday to stress the importance of motorists and agriculture vehicles sharing the roadways, especially as the spring planting season approaches.
"Statistics have shown that if a motorist is having an accident with a piece of farm machinery, the motorist and the car will always lose and most generally when an accident occurs with a farm equipment and a motorist, the fatality is the pedestrian or the car operator," said local farmer, Ben Simmons.
