Sherborn Select Board supports plans for artificial turf at

SHERBORN -- The Sherborn Select Board reopened and closed the warrant for the 2021 Annual Town Meeting, including several articles such as one for the design and construction of Laurel Fields, an artificial turf field, and consideration of the acquisition of the property at 31 Hunting Lane. They passed a motion to adopt the warrant according to any changes based on votes made that night.
Recreation Commission member Gavin Mish answered some concerns raised at the March 18 meeting. He addressed the recyclability of the turf material, noting that the crumb rubber, which is produced from tire rubber, would otherwise end up in landfills.
