A person has died in a head-on crash in Franklin County, Indiana, Wednesday.
The crash happened on U.S. 52, east of Yellow Bank Road, at around 1:28 p.m.Sign up for our Newsletters
According to the Franklin County Sheriff's Department, when deputies arrived at the scene, they found a red 2001 Chevrolet Silverado laying in the eastbound lane of U.S. 52 on its side. Deputies also found a 2014 Kia Soul on the road completely engulfed in flames.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames on the Kia and find the driver's body. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the sheriff's office. Their name is not being released at this time.
