Short Vaccine Supply Challenging Published: 03 March 2021 While more people are eligible to get one of the COVID 19 vaccines in Clatsop County with the addition of those 65 years and older on March 1st, there isn't enough vaccine to serve everyone. In a news release, the county states that there are still those in the first groups to qualify that haven't had a first shot much less a second dose. Individuals age 80 and over were declared eligible for vaccination by the state on Feb. 8. Eligibility was extended to those 75 and older on Feb. 15, to those 70 and older on Feb. 22, and, on Monday, March 1, to individuals 65 and older.
