Should the Beehive State have honeycomb calcite as its state

Utah has a state vegetable, state bird, state dinosaur and even a state grass, so why not a state stone? A Utah legislator is proposing to have honeycomb calcite, found only in the high mountains of Duchesne County, designated as the official state stone.
