Boil advisories are still in effect for Shreveport-Bossier City but that may change soon. Bossier City is hoping to be able to lift its boil advisory as early as Wednesday while Shreveport should lift its boil advisory on Friday. Bossier City Mayor Lo Walker said water samples have been sent to Baton Rouge to determine when the boil advisory can be lifted. "We're cautiously optimistic that we may get feedback by this Wednesday and hopefully it will say our water is good and we can discontinue the boiling and heating at that time,'' Walker said on Monday. In Shreveport, the boil advisory is in effect until further notice. But early indications were it could possibly be lifted by the end of week.
