SIU Medicine has new COVID testing sites for January : vimar

All SIU Medicine COVID-19 testing sites will be closed Dec. 23 to Jan. 3 for the holidays.
The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 6,003 newly-confirmed and probable cases of COVID-19 Sunday, marking the 10th straight day that the state figure has been under 10,000 and its lowest daily number since late October.
The IDPH reported 79 additional deaths.
There was no report from Sangamon County health officials on Sunday. Its next report will be today when it will detail numbers from Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
The preliminary statewide positivity for cases as a percent dropped to 7.8%, down more than a percentage point from last week.
