A small plane crashed Wednesday while landing at Hampton Airfield in North Hampton, New Hampshire.Sign up for our Newsletters
Two people were on board when the single-engine Vans RV-6 landed around 9:35 a.m. and flipped over, officials said Police identified the pilot as a 70-year-old from Broad Brook, Connecticut and a 68-year-old passenger from Springfield, Massachusetts.
The plane came to rest, upside-down in the snow-covered median between the taxiway and the runway.
"The pilot and passenger had been seat belted and were able to exit the plane without assistance," North Hampton Police wrote in a statement. "They were evaluated and treated on scene by North Hampton Fire & Rescue personnel for minor injuries."
