LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Going into effect July 1, 2021, SOWELA Technical Community College will acquire the Lamar Salter campus located in Leesville.
Lamar Salter is currently part of Central Louisiana Technical Community College in Alexandria. The campus realignment was approved Wednesday, April 14, during the meeting of the Louisiana Community and Technical College System Board of Supervisors in order to improve administrative efficiency and the delivery of instructional and workforce training.
