Spalding residents call for dip near their homes to be sorted

Concerned residents are fed-up with the “minor earth tremors” created by lorries going over a significant dip outside their homes.
People living in Halmergate, in Spalding, report brick dust and rattling crockery as trucks travel over the dip.
Now they are calling on Lincolnshire County Council’s Highways team to sort out the dip after reporting it numerous times over the FixMyStreet website.

Linda Bond, who lives close to the site, said the dip has become worse in recent months.
She said: “When big lorries go over it’s like a mini earth tremor.
