Four commemorative stamps featuring Prince Philip are to be released by the Royal Mail. The stamps, showing the Duke of Edinburgh throughout his time as the longest serving consort in British history, will be released on June 24th 2021, just after the 100th anniversary of his birth. The black and white collection features four famous images of the Prince, covering seven decades of his life. The first is a portrait of Philip as a young man while the second shows him in military uniform. The third is a picture of him at the Windsor Horse Show while the final stamp is a well known portrait of him from his later years, taken by Terry O’Neill. All four stamps are marked with the dates 1921 – 2021.
