The public opening of Three Twigs Bakery & Bistro in its new Parkway Pointe home has been pushed back. Dining service and in-person sales at the new 3429 Freedom Drive address were expected to begin Saturday. However, owner/operator Emily Lewis said the public opening has been pushed back until late this month because of struggles finding additional staff. The scratch-made bakery will continue to fill catering and advanced orders from the Parkway Pointe address, which it has done since March 22. Orders must be placed online at www.threetwigsbakery.com. Pre-orders for whole cakes, as well as dozen and half-dozen bulk orders of cupcakes, doughnuts and cookies in regular or gluten-free/vegan varieties can be picked up from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday and Sunday. Pre-orders must be placed at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled pickup.
