One of the vaccines is for prostate cancer and a second is currently being tested in non-small cell lung cancer and triple negative breast cancer. Clay's mother, Nell Clay, who is president of the board of directors of the Springfield and Central Illinois African American History Museum, is a breast cancer survivor.
