In fact, this year I'm getting to my early mock well behind the schedule I've established over the last few years, when I generally ran it in October, about a month after the previous draft. You can call it the Covid effect. The reality is, it's way way harder to figure out next year's draft for the simple reason that we don't have much information. When players aren't getting to play lacrosse games, it's awfully hard to determine who among them should be the highest picks.
