(WTWO/WAWV) – Indiana’s legislative session recently wrapped up and local representatives met to highlight some of this years achievements. Senator Jon Ford, Representative Tonya Pfaff for district 43 and Alan Morrison for district 42 met to discuss legislation at the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce. Representative Morrison says there was broad support for the budget bill in this session. Morrison explained how important it was to make sure the next generation was taken care of. “Obviously one of the most important is K through 12 education,” said Rep. Morrison. “We made historic additions to that budget and it’ll be over 1.9 billion over the next two years. We’re doing everything we can do to get as much money into the classroom.”
