State police investigating crash, possible shooting on Milford-Harrington Highway Delaware News Journal Delaware State Police are conducting a "criminal investigation" following an apparent crash on Milford-Harrington Highway Wednesday afternoon between Harrington and Milford. Scanner traffic indicated emergency personnel responded to an overturned vehicle on the road with two people in the car, one of which was "unconscious with facial injuries." A first responder on the scene said one of the people was suffering from a gunshot wound to the head, according to scanner traffic. State police issued a traffic advisory at 3:45 p.m. for Milford-Harrington Highway, saying the road is closed between Killens Pond Road and Blairs Pond Road during the investigation.
