Phil Green has been appointed to serve on several committees in the state House of Representatives as he goes into his second term. He will serve on the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Health and Human Services, the Higher Education and Community Colleges Appropriations subcommittee, the Judiciary Appropriations Subcommittee, and the House Education Standing Policy Committee. “I am honored to be given this opportunity to evaluate and prioritize state funding for our state’s health care needs,” Green said about being named to the Health and Human Services Appropriations Subcommittee. “Both mental and physical health is important to our community. Working to meet their needs has been a high priority during my time in office. I intend to utilize that knowledge and experience as I work to meet those same needs for the entire state.”
