Study links commuting choices to heart health: Walk or cycle to impact cardiovascular risk

Study analyzed the relationship between commuting modes and distance with cardiovascular disease-related biomarkers using UK Biobank data. The results suggest that active commuting modes (cycling, walking) may be positively associated with select CVD biomarkers, while long-distance commuting by car is negatively associated.
