SU relocating students after flood in Watson Hall Emily Steinberger | Photo Editor Facebook Subscribe to our newsletter here. Three floors of Watson Hall have been affected Sunday by a flood caused by damage to a bathroom. The incident has directly affected about two dozen students, said Sarah Scalese, Syracuse University’s senior associate vice president for communications. Personnel from the Office of Student Living are at Watson helping impacted students move into rooms in Ernie Davis and Haven halls, she said. SU employees cleaning up the water said someone ripped out a pipe connected to a urinal in a third floor men’s bathroom on the east wing of the building. The Department of Public Safety is investigating the incident, Scalese said.
