Subramanian Swamy Objects to IIM-A PhD Thesis That Said BJP Is 'Pro-Hindu Upper Caste' Party
Following Swamy's objection, the MoE had asked IIM-A for a copy of the thesis. In reply, institute’s director D’Souza said the government is not an arbiter of complaints regarding a thesis.

New Delhi: Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy has raised objection to a PhD thesis at IIM-Ahmedabad which allegedly said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Bahujan Samaj Party were “ethnically constituted” parties. The thesis also allegedly said that the BJP is a “pro-Hindu upper caste party”,
