Sunwing has announced its returning to Thunder Bay for the 16th straight year with vacation packages to Mexico, Cuba and the Dominican Republic. Flights will begin in December and will run weekly until the middle of April 2022. Airport President and CEO Ed Schmidtke says they are very excited to have the service return and appreciate Sunwing’s confidence in the regional market after a difficult year for the travel industry. He adds they are hopeful for a successful winter season.
