Christian Research conducted a survey in the United Kingdom for the Bible Society involving 1,123 practicing Christians who attend church and read the Bible at least on a monthly basis. According to those findings collected in November, God's Word gives people the strength to overcome the challenging times. Bringing strength in times of weakness Christian Research revealed that 42% of respondents said reading the Bible "led to an increased sense of hope in God during the crisis," with nearly half (49%) of 45- to 54-year-olds reporting Scripture boosting their hope.
