January 16, 2021 UPDATED…. GREENBRIER TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Officials in Greenbrier are investigating a suspicious package at the post office on Hwy 41. According to officials, the scene has been secured and there is no danger to the surrounding community. Investigators were first called to the scene around 7:30 PM Friday evening. The Robertson County Emergency Management Agency, the Greenbrier Police Department, the Tennessee Highway Patrol, and the Robertson County Sheriffs’ office are currently on the scene. UPDATE: According to Captain Todd Dorris with the Greenbrier Police Department, the Tennessee Highway Patrol’s bomb squad examined the package with various technologies including X-ray and the all-clear has been given and everyone has cleared the scene.
