A ROGUE trader who swindled a pensioner out of thousands is back behind bars for failing to pay compensation. Patrick Charles Lemmon helped himself to £26,000 of his victim’s cash for work he never did in Sussex. The 59-year-old was a doorstep trader who ran the Regency Paving Company, Regency Home Improvements Company, and Regency Refurbishment Company. It was based out of Cooden Sea Road, Little Common, Bexhill. Lemmon was jailed after telling an 83-year-old victim from Hastings to hand over the huge sum of £26,000. It was paid to him as five cheques, but cowboy Lemmon never started the work.
