Kia has also made a bold prediction for 2021. Automakers are starting to release their Q4 2020 sales figures, and despite the pandemic causing so much disruption around the world, some car companies miraculously achieved record sales. Thanks to popular models like the Q3 and e-tron, Audi achieved its best-ever Q4 sales in the company's history, which is an impressive achievement. Now, Kia has announced its Q4 2020 sales, ending the year with a five percent year-on-year rise in quarterly revenue to KRW 16.91 trillion ($15.2 billion). Kia's fourth-quarter operating profit more than doubled from a year earlier to KRW 1.28 trillion ($1.1 billion), while net profit also increased to KRW 976.8 billion ($881 million), up by 182 percent compared to the same period last year. Between October and December 2020, Kia sold 742,695 cars worldwide, a slight decrease from 742,733 units compared to the same period last year.
