Melbourne’s Swinburne University of Technology was paid almost $345,000 to provide governance training at a major Australian Indigenous corporation recently found to be without a valid board and facing questions over $28 million in spending.
Details of Western Australia’s Marra Worra Worra Aboriginal Corporation’s payments to Swinburne between 2017 and 2019 are recorded in a recent draft forensic audit which has been referred to the federal government’s Office of the Registrar of Indigenous Corporations.
