The MV Focus was finally removed from the northern tip of Bribie Island about 8.30am on Thursday after it spent two long days at the mercy of the tidal ocean. Salvage operators pumped water from the boat before it could start its journey home. Coast guards abandoned attempts to retrieve the vessel on Wednesday due to the tow rope snapping and the boat filling with water.
