GIG venue bosses pleaded with the Scottish Government for two metre social distancing to be scrapped amid fears most places will not be able to reopen. Promoters warned growing numbers of Scottish fans are buying tickets for shows and events south of the border, where venues will be open at half their normal capacity from Monday (May 17).
