As the bellwether electronics sector took a pause after a strong showing in the past two trading sessions, buying rotated to select old economy and financial stocks, preventing the broader market from falling into negative territory by the end of the session, they said. The weighted index on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE), or the Taiex ended up 11.27 points, or 0.07 percent, at 15,771.32, after moving between 15,741.16 and 15,896.40, on turnover of NT$275.78 billion (US$9.86 billion).
