An official, while speaking to a media house said that the control rooms earlier had 24*7 functioning and that the Deputy Director of Health Services office also had multiple teams. However, now this particular room is functional only during the day and that the manpower has also been reduced. The limited number of doctors in the control rooms just speak to the patients and clear their doubts whicle also following u on cases for the purpose of contact tracing. Reports suggest that the Dharmapuri area of Chennai on Tuesday reported zero positive coronavirus cases while other 23 districts recorded less than 10 coronavirus cases. Meanwhile, the cases seem to be rising in the capital city as Chennai itself has reported over 200 Coronavirus cases in the last five days.
