‘Stand up for our children.’ Rally calls for reopening all Easton area schools 4 days a week Updated Mar 12, 2021; Facebook Share A group of residents say the need to get children back into Easton area classrooms outweighs the risk that they may spread COVID-19. The four residents have set up a ‘call to action’ rally for 3 p.m. Saturday, March 13, in Easton’s Centre Square. The Easton Area School District has children coming in two days a week and learning online the other three days. The school board voted Tuesday to bring kindergarden-through-second grade back four days a week but there’s no set date to execute that plan. Superintendent David Piperato expects to issue an updated plan early next week.
