By far my favourite thing about the phone's design is the lack of a camera bump. TCL's cameras are flush with the back of the phone.(Supplied) Apple, Samsung and Google's obsession with bigger lenses means barely any of their flagship phones can lie flat on their back. TCL's cameras are flush with the back of the phone, but obviously, that comes at a cost. Those three companies I just mentioned have proven how little megapixels mean in recent years. Software is critical to top quality photos on a phone in 2021, and TCL's 20 Pro 5G falls short. It's by no means bad, but TCL's tiny lenses don't work particularly well in low light. I struggled to take a crisp photo of my puppy who was barely moving.
