A group of housing associations are searching for contractors to join a £625m residential construction framework. A range of construction-related work will be procured through the agreement, ranging from demolition and design-and-build of new homes, to full urban regeneration and refurbishment projects. The framework is being procured by the Riverside Group housing association on behalf of the Cutting Edge Framework (CEF) Consortium of eight housing associations. The framework is set to run for four years with a total estimated value of £625m. Riverside has said the consortium members are committed to using the framework and, as such, the work contracted should reach the full £625m value.
