An eight-strong consortium of housing associations is seeking contractors to build residential schemes across the North of England.
The Cutting Edge Framework has an estimated total value of £625m and is expected to run for four years.
The consortium is led by Liverpool-based Riverside Group, and also includes the Regenda Group, Salix Homes, Together Housing Group, Onward Living, Progress Housing Group, Magenta Living, and Irwell Valley Homes.
Under the terms of the framework, contractors can bid for a place on regional lots for a chance to be selected for individual projects worth up to £5.5m.
Works that could be procured through the framework include the construction of homes, refurbishment of existing properties, urban regeneration, and demolition and site remediation. ....

Tendering for £625m northern resi framework starts

A group of housing associations are searching for contractors to join a £625m residential construction framework.
A range of construction-related work will be procured through the agreement, ranging from demolition and design-and-build of new homes, to full urban regeneration and refurbishment projects. The framework is being procured by the Riverside Group housing association on behalf of the Cutting Edge Framework (CEF) Consortium of eight housing associations.
The framework is set to run for four years with a total estimated value of £625m. Riverside has said the consortium members are committed to using the framework and, as such, the work contracted should reach the full £625m value. ....
