Terry Lubeck, 71, of Fort Dodge, IA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home in Fort Dodge.
The family will be receiving friends for a public viewing at the Farber & Ottoman Funeral Home at 1120 W Main Street in Sac City, IA, from 9:30 to 11:00AM Monday, February 8, with a service to celebrate the life of Terry beginning at 11:00. Reverend Missy Brown will be presiding over the remembrance.
Terry was born on August 27, 1949, in Sac City, IA, to Kenneth and Doris Lubeck. He attended elementary and high school in Sac City. Terry always had a love of horses, motorcycles, and cars. After a year of college, he began operating a filling station in Cherokee, IA. He was then drafted and joined the United States Army. Terry received his basic training at Fort Lewis, Washington and upon completion of basic training, he received additional training before being deployed to South Vietnam. Before serving nearly a year in Southeast Asia, Terry was brought home upon the death of his father. The remainder of his Army career was spent serving on Army bases in Kansas.
