Photo: PA Door to door testing is coming to some Nazeing residents as health officials look to crack down on the South African variant which has been found in the area. Residents living in the EN10 postcode, which includes parts of Nazeing, will be visited by public health officials from tomorrow (Thursday, January 4) and provided with tests. The South African variant is thought to be as transmissible as the variant that was first identified in Kent but there is no evidence yet that it causes more severe disease.
