The Bureau of Land Management Invites Public Comment on R&PP to Sevier County RICHFIELD, Utah – The Bureau of Land Management is seeking public comment on Sevier County’s Recreation and Public Purposes Act (R&PP) proposal to expand its current landfill. A draft environmental assessment (EA) is available for public review and comment concurrent with public review of the Notice of Realty Action (NORA) published in the Federal Register today. The 45-day public comment period for both the EA and the NORA ends on Jan. 25, 2021. “The Bureau of Land Management strives to be a good neighbor and the R&PP Act allows us to facilitate providing critical infrastructure for Sevier County’s waste management,” said Richfield Field Manager Joelle McCarthy. “We welcome any input from the public on this proposal.”
