A new research initiative at the University of Kentucky officially launches this week. The Commonwealth Institute for Black Studies will seek to illuminate the impact of Black lives on the past, present and future of humanity.
This week, we discuss the Institute, its mission and its beliefs with the Director of the Commonwealth Institute for Black Studies, Dr. Anastasia Curwood. Dr. Curwood teaches African American and Africana Studies at UK.
