That " tire fire on the other side" you're talking about is Vincent Gray - a kid who drastically improved his play through the season. He was a passable corner by the end of the year, reliably covering his man and giving Green time to improve. He's a step slower than a starting corner should be and is not the shut-down CB we want, but he really improved his game throughout the season. Isn't improvement from game to game what we like to see from college players, and from the coaches? We certainly saw that from Gray. It's disappointing that people only remember the two worst performances he had on the entire year - and continue to shit on him because of it. Yet, those same people will give the offense a pass on yet another shittastic display of heritage football.
