The NCAA is trying to limit the amount of padded practices in the Fall…how much will physicality be affected if it happens?
-Per Sports Illustrated, the NCAA’s Football Oversight Committee is prepared to recommend the amount of padded practices in the Fall go from 21, down to only 8
-They also want no more than 2 padded practices in a row, no more than 90 minutes of full tackling in practices, 9 helmet-only practices (up from 2 currently), and no more Oklahoma Drill in practice.
