Not that long ago it would have been impossible to find a group of well-known women prepared to talk about their experiences of menopause in a national newspaper. I know, because I tried.
In 2019, when I launched my platform for midlife women, I approached lots of high-profile names to share their menopause stories. Most of them declined, with a few notable exceptions like Liz Earle and Trisha Goddard, who have been campaigning for education around this issue for a long time.
