Here is a summary of this week's: Highways England has announced a notice of consultation for major changes at junction 9 of the M3 at Winnall. The scheme is intended to reduce congestion and improve journeys between the M3 and the A34. These include widening the motorway into four lanes; rearranging the junction roundabout; three new bridges and other structures including new underpasses; revised walking and cycling routes; new connecting roads and improved slip roads. Under section 47 of the Planning Act 2008 the agency has announced a public consultation with a Statement of Community Consultation.
